Banned Words Check: Catch Advertising-Law Superlatives and Platform-Sensitive Words in One Pass
Date Published

"Lowest price on the internet," "number one in sales," "national-grade" — these phrases roll off the pen easily, but once published they are exactly what triggers throttling, takedowns, even reports and complaints. Manually scanning dozens of drafts word by word is slow and easy to get wrong. Banned Words Check hands the job to AI: paste or import your copy, and advertising-law superlatives and platform-sensitive words get flagged one by one with replacement suggestions — fix, re-check, then publish with confidence.
Slik fungerer det
Import the copy to check
Paste in titles, voiceover scripts, or subtitle text, or import saved copy straight from Script Management — a quick pass right before publishing that fits your existing workflow.
AI scan
The AI scans the full text against advertising-law superlative lists and sensitive-word libraries for major platforms, flagging every risky term in red with its risk type — absolute claims, false promises, platform-sensitive phrasing — so you see exactly where the problems are.
Revise and re-check
Replace flagged wording with the suggested alternatives, then run the check again until it passes; once confirmed, the copy is safe to publish, voice, or subtitle, lowering the odds of a platform violation ruling.

Sales voiceover scripts: a final health check before publishing
Best for: e-commerce selling, live-stream clips, account matrices · high copy volume and frequent publishing
Workflow: finish the voiceover script → banned-words scan → replace superlatives as suggested → re-check passes, then voice and publish
Every superlative flagged, nothing missed · Replacement suggestions make fixes fast · Re-check passes before voicing and publishing
In sales copy, "most powerful," "number one," and "100% effective" are practically muscle memory, and one missed phrase is one throttling risk. Run every finished voiceover script through Banned Words Check first: flagged words turn red, you swap them for safe phrasing like "best-seller" or "customer favorite," and only after the re-check passes do you voice and publish — dozens of drafts across a matrix of accounts get a batch health check, turning compliance from "memory-based" into "process-based."
What risks does it detect
The word libraries cover two major risk categories, each labeled so you can fix the right problem:

P

Banned-word rules shift with regulations and platform policies, so we recommend re-checking every piece of copy before it goes out rather than relying on old results.

Catch risks before publishing
Superlatives and sensitive words flagged one by one — no memory-based checks — cutting the risk of throttling, takedowns, and complaints.
Ready-to-use replacement suggestions
It does not just point out problems — it offers usable alternatives, so revisions take minutes instead of head-scratching.
Fits into your existing workflow
Copy from your scripts and Script Management imports straight into the check — write, check, revise, publish, without breaking stride.
Vanlige spørsmål
Does Banned Words Check consume credits?
Detection consumes AI credits per check, as shown in the client; a single check on one piece of copy costs very little, so feel free to run it on every draft.
Does passing the check guarantee no throttling?
No guarantee. The check covers advertising-law superlatives and platform sensitive-word libraries, but platform review rules change constantly — passing the check significantly lowers risk but is not an exemption from review.
Are the word libraries updated?
Yes. Advertising-law word lists stay fairly stable, while platform sensitive-word libraries update as rules change; we recommend re-checking important copy before publishing.
Can it check subtitles and finished videos?
It currently focuses on text: subtitle text, titles, and voiceover scripts can all be checked; for subtitles inside a finished video, extract the text first and then check it.
How many pieces of copy can it check at once?
Batch checking of multiple drafts is supported, with the exact limit shown in the client; matrix accounts can check a whole batch before publishing.
Are replacement suggestions mandatory?
No. Suggestions are for reference only and the final wording is up to you; for claims about efficacy or data, make sure you also have factual support.
